One year ago today

While getting ready that morning Dan and I talked about asking how far was too far to push the envelope. My blood pressures were getting higher. I'd had both rounds of steroids. Rawley's development looked good according to MFM. And being ready to signal the game was over and it was delivery time every time we went in was emotionally draining. Both of us were comfortable with a delivery date in the next week. For the full version of how the story unfolded click here. The story via pictures is below.

11 am - getting ready for the bi-weekly non stress test and check-in at 1p with Dr. Mernitz. Figured I'd snap a few belly pics. Doctor appointments were one of the few things I got all fancied up for since you don't happen to run into many people on bed rest.

1pm - 60 minutes of listening to this before we got to talk to the doc.

2pm - And then Mernitz came in. I asked how long is too long and he said Now. Then I freaked out.

4:15pm  - in the parking lot getting ready to go check in for delivery

6pm - Last picture of the Stone Family of 3

7:40p - Getting ready to go back for delivery. Nothing sexier than a hair net & hospital gown.

8:07pm - He's here!!

Operating Room selfie

8:40pm - our first face-to-face meeting

Happy First Birthday Rawley Charles Stone!
