hefty hairy hiccups

Say what?? Catchy title of a children's book or Madi's accomplishments this week, you decide. Madi has officially passed 3lb 6oz which is double her birth weight. Hefty baby! That additional 1lb 11oz is very noticeable as she's starting to get some chub. There's not enough to pinch or create fat rolls out of but she's headed the right direction. Now that the CPAP hat is off we can see her head and it's hairy! She has some blonde peach fuzz on that head I tell you. We're still waiting to see if she inherited curls. For now we're content to peek in on her and actually see her head instead of a white stocking hat. Pictures of her off CPAP and her hairy head are on the Pictures page.

And the last H of the post, hiccups. Yes, Madi get hiccups. She burps, sneezes and coughs just like you and me. It's different when you're only 3lb, everything becomes dainty. I managed to catch her hiccups on video the other day and thought I'd share. She sounds like a squeaker toy, sorry to poke fun little lady. She'll need to drop those hiccups an octave or two before coming home otherwise the dogs will never leave her alone; think we bought them the best toy ever!
